Industries that cannot police themselves are common indeed. But, the credit card industry is very good at holding together as a core group to protect all of its membership most effectively. It remains to be seen how effective this alliance will remain once the stock options scandals hit the fan.

Though less pervasive, if it's anything like it was in hi-tech it will be something to behold, indeed. And, now back dating has been added to the mess.
